The project below is for the supply and install of 3000m2 of carpet tiles in offices in Birmingham City Centre in July 2014.

Outline of work:

Uplift and dispose of 3000m2 of existing carpet.
Patch repair any uneven floors.
Supply and install 3000m2 of carpet tiles.

In the summer of 2014 we worked with the main contractor to supply and fit 3000m2 of carpet tiles to a 7 floor office block in the centre of Birmingham in the Midlands.

The aim of the project was to work with the client as they were at the end off their lease on the office block, one of the lease agreements was to replace all carpet with new over the 7 floors.

Obviously, this was a cost that our client did not want to pay, but unfortunately they had to pay it. Our mission was to find a carpet tile that we could supply and fit as cheap as possible. The size of the project helped us purchase a carpet tile of average quality at a rock bottom price.

We were responsible for the uplift and removal of the existing carpet and carpet tiles, some of which needed machinery as it had been so well glued down, and because the previous carpet tiles had been glued down with the incorrect glue.

We have a very good strip out team so the uplift and removal of the carpet was quite straight forward for them.

We sourced a company that recycled the old carpet tiles, it is very important that we do what we can for the environment.

The installation of this project was very straight forward, our team completed the installation in 8 days and our work was snag free.
