Churchill Primary School Goes Funky

Working with the main contractor in March 2016, we supplied and installed 140m2 of Paragon Carpet Tiles to the main corridor at Churchill Primary School in Leicester.

We also supplied and installed 16m2 of Heckmondwike matting to the main entrance of the School.

The School had inspiration from another School, that was to use a dark Paragon carpet tiles with random lighter tiles, we encouraged this as we enjoy doing any thing a little different.

Paragon carpet tiles are always a pleasure to use, they are a good company with excellent support. Paragon have ranges that cover all budgets so that they can appeal to a large market.

This project was a straight forward installation, working in the February Half term we completed the works in 2 days.

The main contractor was responsible for the uplift and removal of old Flotex flooring.

Prior to the installation of Paragon Carpet Tiles, we laid a 3mm smoothing compound to the subfloor. The subfloor needs to be smooth and flat to ensure that the carpet tiles can be laid correctly.

Heckmondwike Matting @ Churchill Primary School

With majority of our matting installs we use Heckmondwike matting. We recommended this matting to Churchill Primary School as we know that it is a quality product.

The Heckmondwike matting that we supply is guaranteed to wear really well, has a great range of colours and more importantly it is very cost effective.

We recommended to the anthracite colour as any entrance area that has a lot of traffic is always better to go with an anthracite colour.
