Contract flooring in Leicester – Boulter Crescent

In 2014 we won our biggest contract to date which was the refurbishment of 130 properties at Boulter Crescent, Wigston, Leicester.

We won the contract with Oliveti Construction who are the main contractor working for Oadby and Wigston Borough Council.

The project ran until September 2016 and the total value of the flooring works is in excess of £120000.

Outline of the contract:

• Prepare all of the sub floors with a 3mm smoothing compound.
• Supply and install carpet throughout the 130 properties.
• Supply and install Tarkett safetread universal safety flooring to the kitchen and bathrooms of each property.
• Supply and install Quantum nosing’s to each of the steps in the communal areas so that they comply with Health and Safety regulations.

When the team won this contract it was a big achievement for us, we tendered against some bigger companies than us at the time, this project really put us on the map for contract flooring in Leicester.

This project really has been a springboard for our success.
