Altro Walkway Flooring at Malcolm Murphy Hair

Malcolm Murphy Hair is a award winning boutique salon, this was a relatively small project for us but a very rewarding project as Malcolm is a friend to some of the team.

It has been great to see Malcolm Murphy Hair grow as a business, when Malcolm approached us with the project he had a very clear understanding of what he wanted so finalising the specification was very easy.

The project was completed in 3 days by a team of 3.

Why use Altro Walkway?

Altro Walkway 20 is a hard-wearing 2mm safety flooring. With aluminum trioxide throughout the thickness of the material and silicon carbide at the surface, it has the classic slip resistant flooring look that has been specified for decades. Altro Walkway 20 provides lifelong slip and abrasion resistance. It also offers durability, enhanced chemical and indentation resistance, all of which contribute to a longer life expectancy.

Altro Walkway features Altro Easyclean Maxis PUR Technology. This industry leading technology adds improved cleanability and color retention, enhanced stain and chemical resistance and contributes to low dirt pickup. Independent field testing has shown that with the addition of this cleaning technology, end users can reduce maintenance costs compared to other floors.

This floor was perfect for a busy hair salon. Malcolm Murphy chose colour Black which worked really well with the colour scheme of his salon. The aluminium trioxide made the floor look sparkly and the floor looked very glamorous.
